I don't know if this is the best place to vent, but I need to. I usually post my blogs on myspace but there's too many people I know that read those.
I recently graduated college (yay me!) and normally graduations are a huge deal with my family. My siblings and their spouses and boy/girlfriends came but not much else. I was honestly surprised that the only other family that came were three cousins and my aunt from my mom's side.
What's changed you might ask? Well, in December I had a beautiful baby girl... out of wedlock AND on top of that she's mixed race. Her father is black (and a deadbeat I might add, but so is my exhusband) also, he's never even met her. I'm fine with that because that way I don't have to share her.
Anyway, it has been expressed by some of my family members that they either don't like black people, or that they don't like mixed . Thinking back and if I had been given the decision to do it over I would. I might choose better for a father, but I wouldn't take away who my is.
It's sad to think that I've alienated some family, perhaps forever if not just for now. At least I know who loves me for me and sees who a person is by judging their character instead of their skin.
I love each and every one of my daughters for who they are and I wouldn't change any of them for any amount of money in the world. If my family can't accept my then they can't accept me. And I'd rather be in a room full of friends who love me for me than a room full of family that ignore me and give me the cold shoulder because of a beautiful baby girl.

I have a question for the guys. How many of you have cheated in a relationship (past or present) and if you have, would you ever cheat again? This is just something I'm curious about.
