Well folks, it's that time of year again...Holiday vs Christmas, HO_HO_HO, spending money we don't need to be spending, and being horny with not enough time to get a good groove on.
I'm back after a long sabatical, and I'll have to say things have improved. There's some mighty HOT gents here on Affair Link! Mercy, mercy!!! I think I'm in "pecker heaven"...
Some of you gentlemen have gotten very creative in showing off your wares, and I'm loving it! Those beautiful profile shots are killing me...1/2 hour of looking at those have got me climbing the walls...being the phallic admirer that I am. Great job, guys!!!
I've updated my profile here, as my criteria has changed...no longer looking for an LTR that much. I'm happy with the way my life is, and ready for adventure and going with the flow of life to see what delights it brings.
All I want for Christmas is for one of you gentlemen to tie a big red ribbon on that luscious male member, and then let me have my way with you! Any takers?
Sorry, Santa...I decided to be very naughty this year.

Sweet Dreams,

A friend of mine sent me this today in my ISP mail. I failed to tell him how much that I, for the most part, despise email chain letters. To tell the truth, I've never experienced either bad or good luck in NOT forwarding one. I usually don't forward them unless they are very clever, and make me laugh when I read them. Then I figure my buddies will appreciate them, too.
I'll have to say that this one got a hoot or two out of me when I first read it, so I'm sharing it here...
The Frog and Golf
THIS IS HILARIOUS! DO NOT SAVE - PASS ON
A man takes the day off work and decides to go out golfing. He is on the second hole when he notices a frog sitting next to the green. He thinks nothing of it and is about to shoot when he hears, "Rib bit, 9 Iron."
The man looks around and doesn't see anyone. Again, he hears, "Rib bit 9 Iron." He looks at the frog and decides to prove the frog wrong, puts the club away, and grabs a 9 iron.
Boom! He hits it 10 inches from the cup. He is shocked. He says to the frog, "Wow that's amazing. You must be a lucky frog, eh? The frog replies, "Rib bit Lucky frog."
The man decides to take the frog with him to the next hole. "What do you think frog?" the man asks. "Rib bit 3 wood."
The guy takes out a 3 wood and, Boom! Hole in one. The man is befuddled and doesn't know what to say. By the end of the day, the man golfed the best game of golf in his life and asks the frog, "OK where to next?" The frog replies, "Rib bit Las Vegas.
" They go to Las Vegas and the guy says, "OK frog, now what?" The frog says, "Rib bit Roulette."
Upon approaching the roulette table, The man asks, "What do you think I should bet?" The frog replies, "Rib bit $3000, black 6."
Now, this is a million-to-one shot to win, but after the golf game the man figures what the heck. Boom! Tons of cash comes sliding back across the table.
The man takes his winnings and buys the best room in the hotel. He sits the frog down and says, "Frog, I don't know how to repay you. You've won me all this money and I am forever grateful." The frog replies, "Rib bit KissMe."
He figures why not, since after all the frog did for him, he deserves it. With a kiss, the frog turns into a gorgeous 15-year-old girl.
"And that, your honor, is how the girl ended up in my room. So help me God, or my name is not William Jefferson Clinton."
The origination of this letter is unknown, but it brings good luck to everyone who passes it on. The one who breaks the chain will have bad luck.
Do not keep this. Do not send money. Just forward it to five of your friends to whom you wish good luck.
You will see that something good happens to you four MINUTES from now if the chain is not broken.
YOU WILL RECEIVE GOOD LUCK IN FOUR MINUTES !
(Man, I've got dail-up! I'd be lucky to get the forward ready to email in 4 minutes sometimes...hell, I guess I'll just have to pass on the good luck...)

After reading a beautiful passage by Gibran posted by tedzilla99, I was reminded of a much older passage. You've probably at least heard this read at a wedding, but in it's full context the scope of it is much broader than romantic love. It is the famous passage written by the Apostle Paul to the church at Corinth in around 55 A.D.
Segment from 1st Corinthians Chapter 13 (Translation: The Amplified Bible by Zondervan)
Starting at Verse 4:
Love endures long, and is patient and kind; love is never envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
It is not conceited; it is not rude and does not act unbecomingly. Love does not insist on it's own rights or it's own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it.
It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, it's hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything.
Love Never Fails...

The Blues about Love...

In the movie, THE ROSE, Bette Midler performed an old blues song that really is indicative of the Blues about Love. And I believe that Buddy Guy also covered this one as well.
I love the Blues because of the burlesque under-toned rhythms and beats. Many blues lyrics talk of love; lost love, being blue about love, missing a lover, loving a lover, the humor in love, how good a lover is, how bad a lover is, and every other lover scenario in between...a compelling interest for a Venusian gal, and like a sparkling bauble to a Raven...
The reason I singled out this particular Blues song is that it embodies my philosophy on what I need in a lover.
Love Me With A Feeling Bette Midler (verbatim from The Rose soundtrack)
[Man:] "All right! She's gonna sing!" [Rose:] "All right, we all turn to page 438. Now, you know we all gonna sing along. Oh, I do love a revue."
Ohhhhhh! You know, women don't like this woman, 'cause I always speak my mind. But the men ain't crazy about me, 'cause I love to take my time.
If you're gonna love this woman, gotta love me with a thrill, 'cause, baby, if you don't, I gotta find a man who will.
Love me with a feeling. You got to love me with a feelin'. You got to love me with a feelin', or you don't love me at all.
You know, I'm the kind of woman, I don't want no halfway stuff. If you're gonna turn me loose, baby, be sure I had enough.
You know, the cops once took me in, but I did not need the bail. I just shook it for the judge and he, he put that cop in jail.
You got to love me with a feeling. You got to love me with a feelin'. You got to love me with a feelin', or you don't love me at all.
"All right, Milledge, this one's for you." There was one cat who could not make it, and Milledge was his name. The only cat I ever knew who left before he came.
There he's a-standing, drinkin' pop from a paper cup. But when it's time for gettin' down, Milledge can not get it up!
You gotta love me with a feelin'. Yeah, love, love me with a feelin'. You got to love me with a feelin', or you can't love me at all

Once upon a time...
I had a dear musician friend that I had a "thing" with. We never actually copulated, but we did just about everything besides copulate. We had this crazy chemistry going on for such a long time, but for some reason, we just never could bring ourselves to the FULL MONTY. I think we were both afraid that it might ruin our friendship. (I know I was concerned.) But more so, I think that we were afraid that we would become too addicted to each other...and that could cause problems, because he was attached. (FYI: I don't do attached any more.)
Anyway, all of our naughty foreplay got the best of me sometimes...just about made me crazy, 'cause I wanted him so bad. I guess it was because he was forbidden fruit. (Well! I said I was a REFORMED Bad-girl!) So, one night I decided that turnabout was fair play, and showed up with Tootsie Roll Pops to suck on at his gig. Since my tongue and lips had brought him to a frenzy on several occasions, I KNEW that I would get even on the BIG TEASE that had been going on between us...and did I EVER! I nonchalantly pulled a Tootsie Pop out of my purse, and started leisurely sucking on it...deeply and slowly...exposing the full wetness of my lips around it. I glanced up and caught him watching me...cracking a naughty smile at the corner of my mouth as our eyes met. Then IT happened! This musician, that would have sooner dug a hole in the ground and crawled in it than to make a mistake, committed a major glitch right in the middle of his solo...it was all I could do to keep from laughing out loud. Then I started to notice a growing bulge in the front of his jeans...before he turned around with his back facing the audience. Realizing what I had done, I quickly put the Tootsie Pop down...but continued to lick the salt from the back of my hand, drink my Cuervo shot, suck on my lemon wedge, and wrap my lips sensually around the bottled beer chaser sitting on the table in front of me. A song later, the band took a break, and my friend came over to the table and asked me to "cool it" until after the show. He said that, not only did he make a mistake, but he damn near dropped his guitar, too...and it was worth a lot of money. Then he grabbed my hand and guided it under the table to feel his bulging manhood...murmuring that he had to break early and get off stage, so no one else would see what I'd done to him. Then I whispered back that, next time, I'd stop and get an ice cream cone to lick on before showing up...lol. He whispered back vehemently, "Don't you dare!".
Nowadays, I have to be on my best behavior at my friend's gigs...but he still gets nervous when he sees me digging in my purse...never know WHAT I'll pull out of there next!

When it comes to philosophizing about my quest here, JANICE JOPLIN said it all...in this one fabulous lyric.
One Good Man Janis Joplin
Honey, I love to go to parties And I like to have a good time, But if it gets too pale after a while Honey and I start looking to find One good man. Hmm, don't you know I've been searching, Oh yes I have! One good man, Oh ain't much, honey ain't much, It's only everything, whoa.
An' I don't want much outa life, I never wanted a mansion in the South. I just-a want to find someone sincere Who'd treat me like he talks about, One good man. Oh honey don't you know that I've been looking. Oh, one good man Ain't much, honey it ain't much, Oh, it's only everything. All right.
Some girls they want to collect their men, They wear 'em like notches on a gun. Oh honey, but I know better than that, I know that a woman only needs one. One good man, oh, Oh baby don't you know I've been looking, hmm. One good man, It ain't much, no, no honey it ain't much, Oh, it's only every little thing, Just-a everything, everything Ah yeah.

Good Girl, or Bad Girl?

It just occurred to me, as I was reviewing my blog, that anyone viewing it for the first time might be a little confused...is she a good girl, or a bad girl? Well, unfortunately, I'm a little of both. I say unfortunately because I think it would be easier if I were totally one or the other. As a Libra, I am always seeing both sides of any life situation...always weighing and balancing..always trying to keep the scales balanced just so. But life is a tough balancing act, and sometimes you teeter on one side of the scale more than another...and I definitely do that...lol.
SO...if it seems confusing that I get on a spiritual jag, and post a lot of inspirational -type stuff; and then you see erotic art coupled with some sort of spicy text, and then jokes that are naughty, and then nice...well, that's just me teetering over to the other side for awhile to gain some balance. ~ ~ /// ~ ~
In reality, I'm a combination of the two...and that's not necessarily all bad...lol.

Words of Wisdom...

Here are some words of wisdom, and thoughts to ponder, courtesy of "The Infinity Institute".
~ Know Thyself ~
- Socrates' guiding rule was, "Know Thyself." These words are of eternal significance. No better advice has ever been give to man or woman. When one begins to explore this dictate it leads to profound understandings about all of creation. It makes unhappiness, fear, sadness, doubt, and all the negative emotions meaningless.
- In the scripture Jesus said, "Love God first and your neighbor as your self." In doing this we have to come to the conclusion that we are made in the image and likeness of the Divine, therefore we are all sacred beings. If this premise is true then there is no room for those negative emotions. Ah, however we feel them strongly, why is that?
- Could it be that we are not recognizing the goodness, the god-within all of creation? When we do not recognize this goodness the dark side of our nature begins to find excuses for what is happening in our life. It is then that we begin to feel 'other than happiness' feelings. Happiness of course is our birthright.
- When we came into existence our soul was pure love. Our first relationships here in this new environment seem to have taught us to forget from whence we came and why we are here. We tried valiantly to let everyone see our virtue, our love, our innocence and this is proven by how many times people came to look at us and smile and say sweet things to us in our stroller or crib. But then what happened? Through our mother we had been hearing and feeling the negative emotions as well as the positive ones from the time of our conception. At birth the negative began to be reinforced over and over again until we became convinced that in order to survive we needed both positive and negative feelings. Our ego now had a directive, defend against those who would hurt us in some way. Do what it takes to live!
- As adults we are still functioning from that mistaken decision and as a result live a life that is insane. Our way out of this is to begin to re-do the mental programming in the subconscious. In A Course of Miracles it says that the special relationship is one that omits the presence to Heaven. In other words we are blind to the goodness in ourselves and in others. If we will begin to meditate on the goodness within we begin to do as Socrates prescribed, Know Thyself.
- First and foremost we begin to be thankful for the 'insight' and demand of our self that we only recognize that which is nurturing to our nature. In other words count our blessings and the love that others have given to us; keep reminding ourselves the good that others have shown to us. Step two is to let go of the old insane thoughts and pictures that have brought unhappiness. In their place it is imperative that we put in a positive picture and statement to replace the old worn out negative one. It helps to count all of the blessings associated with the relationship. When I say relationship I am referring to the relationship to self, to persons, to places and to things.
- For instance, if one is letting go of fear, put in its place the opposite picture and declare: "This ____ fear has no power over me. With the Divine all things are possible. I am one with the Divine." Remember that others are also one with the Divine even though they may not recognize it. This is where compassion and faith become great allies to your newfound way of living. You now begin to live in a sane world of your co-creation with the Divine, not the mistaken world that was presented to you at your birth.
- What I have suggested will take dedication, determination, discipline and above all a great deal of self-love. As Kermit says: "It isn't easy being green."
~ Happy Birthday! ~

My Basic Astrological Chart...
|

Last Updated:Oct 27, 2006 1:05 am

|
An Astrological Birth Chart is like a personality blue-print...no two exactly alike, not even twins. A chart represents the canvas of your personality painted at birth...with no personal work done to empahsize the positives, or de-emphasize the negatives. Once you are aware of both your plus and minus personality traits, then you can start work on pulling those traits into balance...which I have done much work to do. So, PLEASE keep in mind that many of the negative traits that this chart conveys have been worked on, diminished, or corrected. Now I'm working on emphasizing the positives...
Sun in Libra, Moon in Taurus
You take life at a leisurely pace. You form opinions slowly and reflectively and can become obstinate in the views you do adopt. With your sense of tradition and admiration for time-tested things and ideas, you respect lineage, deep-rootedness and solidity. Your inner nature is conciliatory and compromising, for you value balance and symmetry above all. In love you choose a partner carefully and conduct your courtship with great patience. You experience a sort of regeneration and revitalization in being close to nature. The key to a more serene life lies in modifying your obstinacy and fixations. Use your facility for deep enjoyment to discover all that life has to offer, not just those time-tested patterns.
Ascendant in Taurus, Venus in the Fifth House
At the time of your birth the zodiacal sign of Taurus was ascending in the horizon. Its ruler Venus is located in the fifth house.
Taurus is the second sign of the zodiacal belt and within its rulership there are determination, common sense, possessiveness, and a tendency to seek material wealth.
You appear as a solid, secure, even slow person, fond of moving along tangible lines, disliking abstract speculation.
You are loyal and steadfast in your affections. Your overall attitude is amiable, exhibiting much patience in dealings with other people. You are a sensuous person who likes to indulge in healthful but always pleasurable activities. In spite of this, however, you have a tremendous capacity for exercising both will-power and physical strength. A major difficulty you encounter in life is due to your inflexibility; once you have made up your mind, you are closed to all other suggestion or opinion.
Venus, the ruler of your life, was found located in the fifth house; the house of love, pleasure and .
This is regarded by traditional astrology as one of the best positions of Venus. It directs you toward success and towards obtaining benefits through art and related areas.
Harmony in domestic matters is another feature of Venus here.
Moon in the First House
The Moon is in the first house. This position indicates that you are strongly influenced by your feelings and moods.
Your awareness of yourself is influenced by your momentary feelings, and this perception is subject to rapid changes of mood and emotion. In time, you will learn to understand why you react as you do to various situations, and then you can begin to change your response patterns and take more control of your life.
Others sense your lack of emotional self-sufficiency and tend to get involved in your personal affairs, even if you try to prevent it. You express your sensitivity through an emotional need to nurture and be nurtured by others. While you would like to have guidance and supervision concerning your goals and objectives, it would be better to achieve your aims independently so that you will not feel obligated to others.
The advantage of this position lies in your ability to sense other people's needs and desires.
In fact, you have a calming effect on people who are under stress, and this makes you ideally suited for working with the public.
Moon Conjunct Ascendant
The Moon conjunct the Ascendant shows that you have some emotional hangups. You want close, intimate contacts with others, but you tend to keep people at arm's length because you are afraid you will become obligated to them.
You are a mass of contradictions - making demands on people but complaining when they do the same to you; expecting others to make overtures to you and withdrawing when they do. Although you are highly imaginative, you react to stimulating people in a generally negative and critical way.
On the surface you are independent, but you yearn for a quieter role in which you can enjoy the comfort of knowing that someone really cares for you. This can only happen when you lower your defensive barriers and learn to compromise by meeting people halfway.
Venus in the Fifth House
Venus was found in the fifth house at the time of your birth. At first glance this denotes rich, intense, and pleasant emotional events that will enhance your psychic nature. You are a person who could be regarded as fortunate in love and very successful. Whereas Venus grants the basic capability to reach full enjoyment from love and emotional involvements, it also indicates a tendency to be somewhat inconsistent, volatile, and changeable in romance. Although you are capable of loving intensely and with devotion, the tendencies are to lose interest after a certain time. You would be in a better position if you could exert some control over your span of interest.
Sun in the Sixth House
The Sun was found in your sixth house at the time of birth. This position indicates that in all your activities you will be subjected to the impositions of the environment. The overall orientation of your existence is that of accomplishment through fulfillment of professional responsibilities. In matters of health, this astrological combination is not ideal, as the vital energies of the Sun here have less power, causing you to feel an occasional lack of physical strength. You are, however, inclined to be careful with your health. In your dealings with work associates and subordinates you will show dignified, strong, but open- handed attitudes.
You work with a well-developed sense of pride in everything you do.
Mercury Opposition Ascendant
Mercury opposition the Ascendant means that whenever possible, you try to share the opinions of the people you associate with. Fearing you will be rejected, you wait until you have heard what your associates say before you express your views. Actually, you are trying too hard to be liked; you would be more respected if you were more sincere and less conniving. With your gift of effective communication, you would be most successful in an occupation that requires close, intimate contact with people. Though you really like and need people, you do not want to feel obligated to them. You are independent and resent having your freedom restricted, even temporarily.
Saturn in the Ninth House
Saturn was found in the ninth house at the time of birth. This indicates that your concern over the impermanence of all things will urge you to restrict your personality traits and assume a position of caution and planning before pursuing any important matter.
In a practical sense, your attitude to all higher intellectual functions is that of a studious, serious, and meditative person. You must, however, be attentive to the possible presence of several challenging elements in your intellectual make-up such as depression, fear, and severity.
Note: Saturn is technically near the end of house 8 and is therefore interpreted in house 9.

I've never been huge John Lennon fan, but this is ONE song of his that I absolutely LOVE!
IMAGINE
Imagine there's no Heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today
Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world
You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one

Just take a moment, and wrap yourself around this one...
"If EVERYONE on this planet TRULY unselfishly loved everyone else as a unique being, we would be living in a utopia instead of what we live in now."
There would be:
No sorrow NO pain No poverty No war NO WANT of any kind And, eventually, no illness
If EVERYONE put the needs of others ahead of their own, there would be a reciprocal chain reaction that would cover all of humanity...benefiting everyone on the planet.
So why can't we all just love each other and get along?
