This is a post for people starting from the age of 28[IMPORTANT]
Hello everyone. Hopefully my title has gained your attention as to what this 24 year old has to offer in advice for you older gents/ladies. As we age there is a factor that effects us all negatively. As we all know older people tend to be week and have mobility issues and this is due to one factor. We also see in older adults the lack of strength that they have. Recently there was an older adult that could not plug in a plug into the outlet because the strength in his thumb has withered away. Mind you he tried for 3 days to put a plug in.
The issue at hand is called sarcopenia. In our mid 30s as men and this starts earlier for women. Our bodies start to loose what we call muscle mass. This muscle mass plays a tremendous role in everything but long story short to combat this you must exercise.
Now you may ask well what type of exercises do you mean bud? Well your<b> workout </font></b>routines should incorporate lifting weights. And i mean lifting weights correctly and not incorrectly lol.
To build muscle mass we must lift weights and have good nutrition. You must eat at least your body weight in amounts grams of protein. For instance if you weight 140 you should be eating 140 grams or more of protein a day. Now we cant eat chicken and expect to accomplish that or we will be eating an excessive amount of calories.
First and foremost whey protein is your friend and is a good supplement
To conclude you need to eat an abundance of protein, lift weights correctly and last but not least eat right
Also one more note you should aim to increase the amount of weight you lift by 5 lbs every 2 weeks but i digress and do it every to sessions for a particular muscle group
If you guys do not want to loose your mobility due to old age you must remain active and exercise and just fyi cardio is good but it is not all that good. Cardio lowers testosterone levels in men which is negative. Dont ask me ask science lol
