Apophenia
Apophenia Working in the definition of apophenia there's two fundamental elements of perception in paradoria to help to explain how easy it is for are brains to get things wrong the first is know as paradoria a portion of the brain that tell us to recognise faces and bodies wherever possible, perceiving faces and bodies has been so important to us as we develop in the process of us and are kinD in the process of are evolution that we have special nero electricity and special aspects to are visual prepossessing that are devoted to recognizing faces and recognizing bodies. as a result these systems recognize these things a little to much -causing us to see faces when there not really there causing us to see bodies when there not really there. the first is visual processing of perception is called paradoria which is the portion of the brain that tells us to recognise faces wherever possible and bodies wherever possible. We feel that at any giving moment we see the entire world in front of us but this is not true this is a lie it is a lie are brains are telling us, in fact we only see the tiniest portion of the world it is to about 1 degree as if we was to hold out are thumb to focus only on it that we re taking in the accurate visualization and we re focused it is only are thumb in front of us that we re seeing, are focused that we re seeing it in rich detail. we're only see the tiniest field of visual resolution at any giving moment besides that because in actuality it's only 1 degree, about the width of your thumb held out at arms length held out directly in front of your face at arms length, to see your thumb clearly in intent the rest, of the world around your thumb as your focused on your thumb in perception, to see, um the rest of your world as visualized in your perception is incredible blurred and out of focused as your visualization and focused on your thumb. aye eye only capture a tiny fraction of the information of the world around us so are brains work to fill in the gaps, you feel like when standing in front of a fruit stand and viewing it you feel like you're seeing the entire fruit stand but who knows what's going on the world around in your puerperal vision at any giving moment there are experiments that show us that you can do amazing, extraordinary things in someone's puerperal vision and they will have no idea whats going on you can have a bunch of peaches and rubber balls in the fruit stand and until you directly at the peaches and rubber balls you will remain completely blind to the fact are brain, so the brain is always making these detective like guesses and and so there is always the possibility that it will get things wrong. .............. the second way of visual processing is called priming maybe your thinking of someone like a auntie named patricia and you see someone from behind and so see a resemblance, or mistake the true identity of who your viewing! in who you're really seeing as a result these systems recognize these things a little to much -causing us to see faces when there not really there causing us to see bodies when they're not really there. in the detective modes are brains assume and gives us information... i see you everywhere EVERYWHERE!!!! |
