"What's on your mind"?
"What's on your mind"? The other day I had something on my mind and I wanted to share it. But unfortunately, I didn't have my pen or pencil. I didn't have the paper either. But in the past, if I had no paper I would get a napkin or anything to write on. In the past, I used my arm or hand to write on. It something hard for me to see what I wrote since I'm so dark. But I try to keep my thoughts in my "knowledge box", my brain. But when I try to keep stuff there, I then sometimes get other thoughts. Sometimes I can think of something totally different. That's weird. No pen or paper, I get 1000 ideas. Maybe I should record my thoughts on my smart phone. But my prehistoric ass is not smart! I haven't advanced on how to use my phone to it's fullest potential. But I might retrieve enough information for a though. Believe or not, your mood makes a difference. Try it, write something when you in a happy, jolly mood. Put it away, wait for a day when you sad or depressed and write the same thing You might have some of the same words, but a totally different concept. One day you might have a love song, then on your bad day you then might have a country song. Not saying you have to be in a sad or depressed mood to write a country song. But like writing blues, it helps! I just use to write poems, and when I wrote my first song, someone read it and said, " This most definitely a country song"! I didn't attended it to be that way, but if you look at the circumstances when I wrote the song, they might had been right. My friend said, "Drew, you going to be a black Charlie Pride"! I said, "I thought Charlie was already a black man". He's probably not as dark as me. So to me, eureka! I wrote a country song! So the million dollar question! What's the different between country songs and blues. Some say, blacks write one, while someone white might write the other one. I don't know? They both can be sad. When I'm sad, I write the hell out these types of songs For a person who forgot what they wanted to say, I had a lot on my mind Enough about me, sit back relax, let me look in your eyes and ask you, "What's on your mind"? Ridletime*** Two in a corner, one in a room, none in a house, but one in a shelter. What am I????? ans: the letter "r". |

If you don't have pen and paper handy your phone words great for taking notes, and you know there's really not much difference in some country and blues music. And Charlie Pride is a phenomenal singer and man. And interesting how you mentioned him the other day I heard his son singing one of his dads song, he's got a great voice too..

Some people use a tape recorded to make notes of their thought.. They come in small sizes now and you could have one on you all the time. I wake up in the middle of the night and find myself looking for a pen and paper to wright something so I don't forget it tomorrow. It is a great tool to use so you don't forget what you wanted to say Scoupe hugs V Become a blog watcher sweet_vm
