This is a work that will take time, so you can see the development, and even perhaps become a character in the story with your posts. i thank you for those. Keep checking back as it will be told, In the Heart of Lust...stories told in fantasies...)---- In the Heart of Lust 1 She often thinks of her last boyfriend when she makes her way to work in the early morning traffic, and the trail of brake lights in front of her only slow the time. She wonders what it means. Did he have to be so indifferent in the way he cared? He was always excited when she did something daring for him, and she loved to see him react that way. So she loved to be daring. She had told him once about how she turned herself on, by simply her thoughts. And it really didn't matter where this took place, she told him. In the library in school, among all those old and musty books, the work of thousands upon thousands of passionate people, trying to explain why we're alive. All she wanted then, as she grabbed the most daring of books a school like hers would allow, was to look over at the table of young baseball players, because spring had come and she had started sitting in the bleachers behind their dugout to watch them play. The wind was always warm, and she loved how her hair flew around as she turned her cheek this way and that to take a good look at all of them, and give each player the deserved smile she felt would make them want to do something on the field to win her applause. She saw them run out there as motivated men. And she felt the clouds pass the sun. She wondered why her sisters before her never completely took hold of their natural place in the world. 2 But she didn't tell him that much. That much he'd have to figure it out himself by proving it. The way his back was toned, though, and his chest a gentle, carefree curve, and firm..she knew he could prove it. It was in his smile, and some of the things he did. But her flirtations came with their own unknown. She wondered if he would really tell her what he would have liked to see happen in that library. If he were at another table, and had gotten a book off the return shelf that was too complicated for his attention span at the current moment, but he only did so to sit nearby and check her out. Her skirt no less a tad too low for his libido-driven mind. And her leg stockings, a bit to low as well. The way she turned in her school shoes, though, always made them all look away real fast in embarrassment. Because by the time the blood had rushed back to their heads, she was already staring them all down and making them throb. 3 He kept silent some of the time, which she liked because he was thinking, but it worried her when he did that when she was talking to him. She wanted to know his every thought, didn't he know this? The red brake lights on the highway glared across her windshield, and she felt it could have been raining and it would have all felt the same. What is time but the life you live, and why should it be slowed down like this, to nothing. It struck her as a deep pang in her chest that went through her. How could he be gone? If ever there was proof of a nothing in this world, in this something of all existence, it would be this, loss because of nothing. 4 By the time she walked in her cube there were already 34 emails in her in box. And by now she had gotten pretty good at dismissing most of the vacant ones, the ones she could tell didn't matter. She took her seat by pulling down on her skirt and she felt the tug of her thong panties slide across her skin as she bent down on her chair. She looked over her shoulder to see if the senior adviser, who was still young, come in late behind her. He was dark in his hair and eyes, and his his face had a subtle structure of beauty and symmetry. He never said much, except when it concerned a project they had been assigned to complete. And that just made her want to look for him often, even though most times when he suddenly appeared before her in the hallway, she'd somehow get this urge to make him look at her without having to look at him. When he'd pass by she could tell by her fierce energy that his head had followed his eyes and turned ever so slightly, even though he was fighting his own urge, and losing. It made for a work day, at least for the morning. Now her assignments were only drab and deadlines to be met. But she liked her new director, a woman of mature strength in her upper 40s, who met everyone with a glowing smile that eased the years in the lines of her tanned skin, but it was the way she could sport great-looking heels with her toned legs that made people obey her diligently. They had a weekly meeting set up to discuss, if nothing less than her projects, then simply ideas they liked to share. Slowly, after some time, the stories followed a curve along a certain train of telling memories, and inevitably the told stories of the men in their lives, and all the foolish and mind-blowing exciting acts they had engaged in....
