BEWARE OF NATURE
BEWARE OF NATURE I was sitting on the back deck yesterday when a passer-by became entangled in a rose bush that was climbing innocently on a fence.. He cursed, and as he did so he saw me looking at him whereby he called out "Can't you keep this @#$$*&! bush trimmed?" I called back an apology since I had just moved my BEWARE OF NATURE sign to the front yard, where the goes poop. Asshat... blog on! |

Yes. That is the offending bush in the picture. Although it is a bigger file on my main page. Hmm. Screwy website! blog on!

Master! The screwy website has eaten your picture...

I don't see a picture of a rose bush, much less an offending one!! Probably because I'm only standard.

I don't see a picture of a rose bush, much less an offending one!! Probably because I'm only standard. However, koocnachtiek (like you and everyone else) cannot see the pic. Yet. I am hopeful that it will appear soon enough on its own. If not, I will resubmit it as an edit. The point of the pic is to show that it is easy to avoid the bush if you watch where you are walking. It's nice to see you again here in The Venting Blog, amoldenough! blog on!

what an idiot ! hope he didn't break any branches.

Tell him to quit drinking and maybe he wouldn't stagger into the thing. It's not like the bush moved...or did it? Are you harboring some criminal vine that reaches out and grabs the innocent when they least expect it? If you're cultivating I'd like a human sized Venus Flytrap next please. Hey, it could be useful for that dog poop problem you have too!

BTW, I have fence envy. Very picturesque.

Okay, I will try that on my next post. Yes, it happened as I described. You noted that all I offered the offender was an apology, I hope. keithcancook is generally not rude to passers-by. I usually wait until they are out of earshot! Also, many thanks to you for hosting my poem! I hope all my readers will check it out: [post 2282673] As alwys, blog on!

Thanks, Chelsea. I was not familiar with that command. I had thought it only available to silver & golders. I hope all is well with you, gf. blog on!

what an idiot ! hope he didn't break any branches. I've walked by it plenty of times without mishap. Other times, well, it got me too! But it is only when cutting the grass that I ever get stuck on it. blog on!

It's really rather amusing. blog on!

I see the offending piece of nature now. I'm sure if he had been watching where he was going, he could have easily avoided it.

Yes. And you are exactly correct, amoldenough. The passage past the plant is as wide as a two lane flattop. blog on!

Aw, it wasn't a big deal for either of us. He was walking his dog around the lake on common ground. Still, there's plenty of room to avoid the bush. blog on!
