Maybe Men and Women Aren't That Much Different
Maybe Men and Women Aren't That Much Different I recently read this in a woman's profile: "Men use love to get sex; women use sex to get love." On the surface, that makes a lot of sense. Men seem hard-wired (no pun intended) to mate with little caution and will use whatever means necessary, while women are more cautious because of their need for emotional support. While I do agree that there are differing biological forces at work driving each sex toward each other, I don't think it's as black and white as men = sex, and women = love. There are times when my "motivation" for being aroused in general, or attracted to someone in particular, is based on wanting warmth, intimacy and genuine love. I notice this most often when I happen to spot someone - either an acquaintance or a total stranger - that makes me want to open my heart and soul and risk them both to love them, even if for one night. Lots of soul-kissing, bear hugs, gazing in each other's eyes, and cuddling afterwards. The works, and a bag of chips. Then there are the times when I have the visceral need to fuck my balls off. I see or think of someone and I want them now. No kissing, no hugging. Suck me, then I'll lick you, then bend over, baby. Sit on my stick, cowgirl. Lie down and prepare for docking. Sit on my face, dirty girl. And while we're at it, call your girlfriend and ask her to come over. While browsing the profiles on this site (and taking care to make sure that they are from real people and not fem bots), it seems like women's desires are as varied as mine and maybe other men's. Maybe it's my Catholic upbringing that makes me pleasantly surprised whenever I read a woman's profile that says, in essence, "shut up and fuck me!" Even if the woman writing that may not actually act out on it if ever presented with the opportunity, the fact that the thought enters her mind is cool. |
