I guess you have a couple of years on me but I can see your point. A pre planned life would be perfect in every respect, I think except for one thing. You would always know what is going to happen. Our mind would never cope with that I'd imagine. Despite bad luck and bad decisions there would always be the I wasn't expecting that moment out of the blue, there is no fate but the fate we make. At least you can say then that it is your own life, regrets are inevitable down this path try not to beat yourself up over decisions in the past when the next one could be more important than any other ever made.

really not sure how ot respond to this. to some degree, i am a fatalist and have allowed my life to be driven by outside forces rather than my own decisions. when i've made a choice, it doesn't seem to have made a huge diffierence in my life path. the single exception being spirituality. which one could say is huge but others would argue is tangential. You cannot conceive the many without the one.

I don't believe in fate either.......what would be the point? Life is full of decisions - large and small - which form our futures

I have really learned to live often in that gray area.
